Welcome!

Hi, my name is April.  I have always loved large dogs and had quite the bond with a few growing up.  I fell in love with Bernese Mountain Dogs the moment I laid eyes on a picture of one.  We got our first puppy right before we had our second child.  My kids have literaly grown up with Berners and are super puppy foster parents.  They each pick out one or two (depending on the size of the litter) pup(s) that are "theirs" to train and socialize untill they are ready to go to their adoptive homes.  You will notice the nick names my pups have to tell them apart - my children come up with those!  My kids are homeschooled so not only do they have lots of prime time to spend with the puppies, but it is part of their education too!  I had always wanted to be able to stay home with my children during their growing up years and raising Berners has allowed me to do two of my favorite things - spend lots of quality time with my 5 kids AND my beautiful dogs.
